Vernier have engineered their dynamics system to be the best value in your physics classroom. The carts are extremely low friction, and they stay that way due to sealed bearings. The machined wheels are truly round, unlike molded wheels. The heavy track stays flat and true, and the black anodized finish makes for very low friction. Plus, the track works as an Optics Bench! The Vernier Dynamics System is a perfect match for the Vernier Motion Detector.

Vernier Dynamics System Carts

Optics Expansion Kit

Within minutes you can convert your Vernier Dynamics System into an Optics Bench using the Optics Expansion Kit

The Vernier Optics Expansion Kit is used to conduct optics experiments, such as image formation with lenses and light intensity vs. distance. You can even use the kit to build a basic telescope.

The Optics Expansion Kit includes:

• Combination LED point and luminous light source
• Three lenses integrated with holders (100, 200 and –150 mm focal length)
• Screen and holder
• Light Sensor holder
• Aperture screen and holder
• Power supply

When studying optics, you can even couple two tracks together with our Track-to-Track Coupler.

The Combination Dynamics Track and Optical Bench is black anodised aluminium, and includes a metric scale on both sides. Extremely rigid, this 1.2 meter track will not sag under use. A collection of stops, feet, and brackets to hold Photogates and the Vernier Motion Detector complete the kit.

The track can be used with the Track to Track Coupler to extend the standard Dynamics track by 1.2m. You can use it with the Vernier Optical Expansion Kit or the new Colour Mixing Kit.
