Compact Portable Measuring Instruments for All Variables
The new smart indicators from AHLBORN keep their promises. Already the
smallest version ALMEMO 2450-1
offers more than 35 measuring ranges and can be used for all kinds of
measurements such as temperature, humidity, airspeed, rotating speed and many
more. The instrument is equipped with one input channel and, on request, with a
PC interface.
The ALMEMO 2490-2 offers two
input channels and up to 65 measuring ranges. The technology of the instruments
is up to date and a 16 bit ad-converter offers a high resolution. The system
accuracy is +/- 0.03 % of the measuring value. An easy-to-read display and easy
operation are standard at AHLBORN.

Datalogger for 9 to 99 Sensors
The new data acquisition system
ALMEMO 5690-2 offers unique datalogging functionality and evaluation.
Due to the intelligent sensor connectors, any kind of sensor can be
connected. The programming of measuring and output cycles is easy via a
menu-guided display or via a PC. As a special function the instrument offers
linearisation of unlinear sensor outputs. The instruments are available with 9
to 99 input channels and with a MMC memory up to 128 MB. The photovoltaic
relays, which guarantee a long life time, and the high resolution 22 bit A/D
converter are just some of the features of this high quality measuring device.

High Precision Measurement of Relative Humidity
The stationary and portable sensors type
FPA 836 from AHLBORN offer
reliable and accurate measurement of relative humidity.
They measure at high humidity and extreme climate (e.g. 85 5 r.H. at 85°C
ambient temperature) where alternative systems such as capacitive sensors show
no more results. The psychrometer includes 2 high quality RTD sensors, which are
exactly adjusted to each other. For calibration purposes the temperature sensors
can be taken out of the sensor housing. All mechanical components of the
psychrometric sensors type FPA 836
can be used at ambient conditions from freezing point to boiling water. Ambient
temperature will have no influence to the measurement. The sensors offer an
accuracy of better than 1 % r.H. and can be easily adapted to all ALMEMO
measuring instruments and dataloggers from AHLBORN. To improve the accuracy,
absolute pressure sensors are adaptable for automatic or manual air pressure
compensation.

Meteo Multisensor for Mobile and Stationary Weather Stations
The new Meteo Multisensor
type FMA 510 is made for measurement of air temperature, relative humidity,
barometric pressure, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, duration of rainfall
and rain intensity.
The sensor is easy adaptable to all ALMEMO dataloggers from AHLBORN. Due to
its low power consumption the sensor is suitable for stationary as well as for
mobile weather stations.
