An experimental approach to the moment of inertia
The Moment of Inertia Apparatus allows students to verify the laws of the
moment of inertia.
Discs of different masses and hollow cylinders, can be
mounted on a low friction system in order to perform qualitative and
quantitative observations. The apparatus can be used both with an electronic
timer and photogates, or with a datalogger system and a computer interface.
