Heat of Conductivity ApparatusHeat of Conductivity Apparatus

A method of showing the variation in thermal conductivity of 4 different metals (copper, brass, steel and aluminium). A small amount of wax is placed in the cavities at the ends of the metal strips and then heat is applied to the centre over a Bunsen burner. The degree of thermal conductivity can be seen by the speed at which the wax melts.
