UV Beads

These 8mm diameter plastic beads are normally white but turn different colours when exposed to UV radiation.

Transition time is seconds in sunlight and minutes in dull daylight. Use to investigate UV content in light sources etc. and to carry out investigations into the effectiveness of sun-screen lotions and filters. The beads revert to white in about 10 minutes of darkness. Re-usable many times.
