The prerequisite for excellent preparations is good material, well preserved and fixed so that the finer structures are retained in as life-like a way as possible. Mounted on the finest quality glass with fine ground edges, microtome sections are cut from the raw materials by highly skilled and experienced staff. The resulting sections are of a thickness that allows the maximum resolution to be obtained from the structural components.
Please Note: Due to the rigour with which these slides are manufactured, the average lead time is around 6 weeks and possibly longer for rarer specimens.
