Force Sensors
We offer three different force sensors to visualize forces in friction, jumping, and roller coasters.
Go Direct Force and Acceleration Sensor
Best for experiments in the lab or field
3-axis accelerometer and Force sensor which can be used via USB or Bluetooth.
- Friction
- Simple harmonic motion
- Impact in collisions
- Centripetal force
Go Direct® Sensor Cart
The Go Direct® Sensor Cart is a dynamics cart with a built-in force sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, and encoder wheel. It directly connects wirelessly via Bluetooth® to your device. Use it for hands-on kinematics and dynamics demonstrations or as an individual sensor.
- Friction
- Simple harmonic motion
- Impact in collisions
- Centripetal force
Dual-Range Force Sensor
Best for most force experiments.
- Friction
- Simple harmonic motion
- Impact in collisions
- Centripetal force
Force Plate
Best for human-scale forces.
- Forces in pushing and pulling
- Stepping and jumping forces
- Measure the volume of a person
- Impact forces
Vernier Structures & Materials Tester
Best for bridge competitions and evaluating material properties.
- Bridge competitions
- Material testing
