Calculates SPL and LEQ Sper Scientific’s Integrating Sound Datalogger measures sound pressure level (SPL) according to A or C weighting and integrates the weighted SPL over an established length of time, such as an 8-hour workday, to calculate cumulative sound exposure (LEQ). Test parameters are simultaneously displayed on a large, bright, backlit display, featuring 0.1 dB resolution and a bar graph. Up to 64,000 data records can be stored in the meter, saved, graphed, and processed on a computer through the USB interface and included software. The bidirectional USB port and software also enable control of the meter via its on-screen image. Features include SPL and LEQ sound level readings, fast and slow time weighting, A and C frequency weightings, and over-limit and under-limit alarms. A single dynamic 30 to 130 dB range eliminates the need to manually select ranges and prevents data errors during range changes in auto-ranging models. The meter complies with IEC 61672-1 Class 2, ANSI S1.4 Type 2 standards. Calibrate in compliance with OSHA using Acoustical Calibrator 850016. Comes in a foam-lined protective carrying case, complete with a windscreen, USB computer connection cable, software, instructions, calibration tool, recorder output plug, and 4 AA batteries, which provide about 30 hours of use. The optional microphone extension cable enables remote measurements. N.I.S.T. Traceable Certificate of Calibration available. Dimensions: 10¾" × 3½" × 1½" (273 × 89 × 38 mm)
