The cross section of these balsa sheets are pre-shaped in an aerofoil shape. The aerofoil shape is consistent with actual wind turbine blades as they generate lift and reduce drag, making for highly efficient rotors.

You can experiment by combining these aerofoil sheets with advanced blade designs to explore Bernoulli’s Principle. Well-designed aerofoil blades will be noticeably more efficient than similarly shaped flat blades.

Sheets are 12 in long, 3 in wide, and 1/4 in thick at the thickest section of the aerofoil profile. This pack contains 10 blades.
