Description
You can measure pressure, pressure distribution and balance. Fujifilm’s advanced technologies in colour film manufacturing enabled to produce extremely thin and stable Prescale to measure pressure. Red patches appear on Prescale when pressure is applied. The colour density changes according to pressure level. Different kinds of Prescale are supplied to comply with demands to measure a wide pressure range. The entire Prescale functions as a sensor and you can see at a glance the whole pressure distribution on it.
Mono-Sheet Type
Measurement is possible with a single sheet of film.
- A color-developing material and color-forming material (microcapsules) are coated, one above the other, on a single base material (PET base).
When pressure is applied, the microcapsules are broken and the colour-developing material absorbs the colour-forming material and reacts, thereby generating a red colour.
