Description
You can measure pressure, pressure distribution and balance. Fujifilm’s advanced technologies in colour film manufacturing enabled to produce extremely thin and stable Prescale to measure pressure. Red patches appear on Prescale when pressure is applied. The colour density changes according to pressure level. Different kinds of Prescale are supplied to comply with demands to measure a wide pressure range. The entire Prescale functions as a sensor and you can see at a glance the whole pressure distribution on it.
Two-Sheet Type
Composed of two kinds of films: A-film and C-film
- A-film: Base material (PET base) coated with a colour-forming material (microcapsules)
- C-film: Base material (PET base) coated with a colour-developing material
The coated sides of each film (colour-forming and colour-developing) must face each other. These are the sides with the matt finish. When pressure is applied, the microcapsules are broken and the colour-forming material transfers to the colour-developing material and reacts, thereby generating a red colour.
