NE/NWSCS Technicians’ Conference
Over the years, the conference has proved to be a great success and has grown considerably since it was first held. This year there will be sixteen workshops on offer, ranging from support for Biology, Chemistry and Physics A Level required practical investigations to specific CPD certified COSHH training. There will also be a workshop run by the National Schools’ Observatory, the Society for Radiation Protection and the Institute of Science and Technology.

It’s one small step for Physics… Welcome to the 45th Stirling Physics Teachers’ Meeting; The largest meeting of the physics teaching community in the UK.
This years 2019 Annual Physics Teacher Event in Stirling is celebrating 50 years since the moon landing and the discovery of Pulsars recorded in Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell’s PhD. Expect presentations on cutting edge astronomy and space technologies, practical activities for the classroom, opportunities for freebies and the first quiz to test your knowledge!

The 31st Annual Meeting for Teachers of Physics in Schools and Colleges will be held on the 5 June 2019 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire.
This year will feature keynote lectures from Dr Rebecca Smethurst, University of Oxford and Dr. Michael de Podesta, National Physical Laboratory. The afternoon session will consist of hands-on workshops providing a wonderful opportunity for teachers not only to pick up new ideas and resources, but also offer a platform for discussion and idea sharing.

STEM Technicians Festival
This festival is for all school technicians to enjoy new aspects of science, technology and engineering in an amazing environment by presenters who are passionate about their subject.
Over the day you will experience hands on workshops and listen and engage with presenters who have an expertise in their field. Also in attendance will be some fantastic scientific suppliers, who are always great to discuss and share ideas with.

ASE National Technicians Conference South
A one day CPD event tailor-made for school science technicians. The day will comprise of some excellent hands-on sessions and an exclusive exhibition at the home of the ASE – University of Hertfordshire.
Friday 5th July 2019 National STEM Centre, University of York
ASE National Technicians Conference North
This is a one day inspirational CPD event, tailor-made for school science technicians. The day will comprise of some excellent hands-on sessions and relevant workshops along with an exclusive exhibition at the National STEM Centre in York.
Saturday 6th July 2019 Charterhouse School, Godalming
SPN South Regional Teacher Day
Join us for a full day of Physics CPD workshops provided by the Stimulating Physics Network – whether you’re a physics specialist or not. All teachers of physics, technicians and trainees are welcome.
There is no charge to attend – the conference is very generously hosted by Charterhouse School, in Godalming, Surrey and offers the opportunity to take part in a number of different workshops over the day.
